   My derm told me that it would be an out of pocket expense and would cost $1,500. She also told me it wasn’t guaranteed. For about $150 I got some help from an esthetician. However, I have very mild surface scarring that seems to improve with time. If it is bad, I would save up for it. Use Differin and Benzaclin as well. Also, buy one of those hand-held microdermabrasion tools to use a couple of times a week and make sure to exfoliate to build up the blood flow. I think the trip to the esthetician will be very insightful and that you should try it. They give great tips about this sort of thing and provide certain procedures (pulsating light, etc.).
