acne scars can be removed by laser or IPL but better consult your dermatologist first because s/he has to see what kind of scars they are (if they’re very deep etc) ..it will definitely take more than one session (so don’t think that you can get rid of them very fast). It’s also a bit expensive (since you want it on your back which is quite a large area). Prices for laser treatment vary (depends on the country and so on) but to give you an idea it would cost around 100euros (sry I don’t know the equivalent in american dollars) per session (for your back and face)

I love Clinique…got to the nearest Clinique counter and get a free facial, they will tell you what you need. I had better results with Clinique than proactiv though it works good for others. Have you tried everything else? the dermatologist would be my last stab at clear skin. Most skin problems are our own fault anyway.
